The apartment:
About 75-80 sqm with a kitchen and great dining area at the heart of the apartment. To the courtyard side of the dinning space you enter the bedroom with a double bed for two people and towards the streets a good size living room with two couches (sleeps one person), sound system and a Swedish oven. From the small hallway you access the bathroom with separate shower and also a washer if needed. I love my home both because of the space and the location as described below. Hopefully you'll like it too.
A few things to know just so expectations are aligned. I'm veryyyy slow with finding the right interior and doing finishing touches in my apartment, so you might find that it's not completely done, but it has everything you need.
The street is a thoroughfare, which means there's a bit of traffic. You hear nothing in the bedroom, but if you rent it for more than two people, meaning there'll be someone sleeping in the bedroom you might hear it a little bit.
Neighborhood:
Right in the middle of the city in the sweet spot between The Botanical Garden, The National Museum of Art + the surrounding park and the lakes - the strip of ornamental lakes that runs along the city center with bridges to the western, northern and eastern neighborhoods. With a very short walk you'll be in the more young and Indie-like Nørrebro, the neat and fancy-ish Østerbro (close to the new harbour neighborhood Nordhavn where you can swim in the summer) or the city center with museums, restaurants, shopping and historical sites.
Several bus lines run just outside the door and the metro and train station Nørreport is reached in a few minutes. Meaning you can reach most places in the city if you don't wanna walk or rent a bike. The small patch of the street where the apartment is located is mostly a thoroughfare with a supermarket, a few takeaway places and too many hairdressers but there's plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and coffee places nearby. I'm admittedly very happy with exploring does places especially if it has to do with places that has taken a stance and put a lot of consideration into the things they serve, pour or sell. I'm happy to share my favorite places with you.
